Time Saving Fuel Up Technology Love's One of the worst time sucks for truck drivers is getting a make over by Love’s Truck Stops. Will it help you?

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores is installing radio-frequency identification readers at about 70 percent of its truck stops nationwide.

The Oklahoma City-based chain says the equipment, being installed over each diesel fueling lane, can read a signal from semitrailers with the necessary tag when they pull in to refuel, speeding the process for truckers.

The eventual goal is to allow trucking companies to replace the billing cards they typically hand out to drivers with a more efficient option, in which a trucker’s equipment, rather than the driver, authorizes a fuel purchase.
