2012 Peterbilt 386

We’re back with another closer look at one of this year’s newest over the road / daily hybrid models from Peterbilt – the 2012 386 model.

The 2012 Peterbilt Model 386 uses a PACCAR MX engine, premium grade aluminum and advanced
composite materials combine for reduced weight and outstanding durability. And the 36, 48, 63 and 70 Unibilt® sleepers are detachable for exceptional versatility. The Model 386 is a unique combination of aerodynamic design and conventional Peterbilt Class.

Peterbilt offers Fuller transmissions on the 386 in 9,10, 13, 15 and 18 speed manuals, and 10, 13 and 18 speed automatic models.

Peterbilt’s proprietary Front Air Leaf Suspension is lightweight and features a 20% improvement in ride quality over taper leaf suspensions for an extremely comfortable ride.
