Freightliner Names Concept Truck Design Winner
[ A- ] / [ A+ ]Swoopy styling and interior innovations by a young art student won Freightliner Trucks’ Future of Pride & Profit design contest, conducted over the last four months with participating engineering, CAD, and Art & Design students from North American colleges.
Minwoo Song from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Mich., won first place with his “2020 Freightliner Super Truck.” It features radical aerodynamic lines on a tractor that is a combination conventional and cabover, executives observed during a ceremony last week at Freightliner’s booth at the Louisville truck show.
