Truck Driver Finds Man Sitting In His Cab

A truck driver in West Monroe, Louisiana got quite the surprise when he returned from eating dinner at about 10:00 p.m. and climbed into his rig, and found a man sitting in the cab of his truck.
The truck driver detained the man, Derek Ryan Futch, 39, and called 911.
West Monroe police officers questioned Futch who told the officers he was in the man’s truck looking for a flashlight so he could find his missing bank card.
Police searched Futch and found that he had a glass pipe with what they believed to be as cocaine residue inside.
Futch was arrested and taken to the Ouachita Correctional Center and faces charges of possession of crack and paraphernalia, simple burglary, introduction of contraband into a correctional facility and obstruction of justice.
Futch has a history of drug related arrests.
