Truck Driver Robbed At Gunpoint At Ohio Flying J Drivers, we don’t have to tell you how dangerous truck stops can be, but please keep your guard up and be aware of your surroundings.

Early Thursday morning, at the Kirkersville Flying J, an Alabama truck driver was robbed of his jewelry and cash at gunpoint.

The robbery occurred at 3:09 am in the parking lot, authorities said.

According to the police report, the 59-year-old truck driver got out of his truck and walked around to the back of his trailer, when two armed men demanded his cash and jewelry.

The truck driver complied with their demands and gave the men a small amount of cash and his jewelry.

The truck driver says the men drove away in a black mid-sized car.

If you were at that Flying J and got a look at the suspects or a vehicle matching that description and can offer the police any information, you are urged to call the Licking County Police Department at (740) 670-5540.
