Greedy Woman Charged With Embezzlement An ex-employee of Rock Valley Trucking of Janesville, Wisconsin has been convicted of embezzling nearly $1 million from the company.

Heidi Wieser stole the funds from Rock Valley from 2008 to 2011.

According to the Gazette Extra, Wieser charged $300,000 on the company’s credit card to Victoria’s Secret, The Limited, Target and a local spa.

Weiser also paid herself $665,000 in extra wages.  Her annual salary was $60,000.

Rock County Judge Ken Forbeck demanded Wieser tell the court where the rest of the money had gone, so that that Rock Valley Trucking could be paid back.

Weiser told the judge that she didn’t have any money in savings and didn’t purchase any assets.  She said she had spent the money on home renovations, clothing and her sons’ school lunches and that there was nothing left.

Weiser accepted a plea bargain and was sentenced to five years in prison, 5 years of extended probation and five years of probation.

Additionally, Weiser has been ordered to pay $1.015 million to Rock Valley Trucking and $19,000 in lawyer’s fees.
