Keith Urban has a lot going for him. He has a new lease on life due to his sobriety, he has two daughters with Hollywood leading lady Nicole Kidman, and his album Get Closer is still selling mounds of copies around the country.
After he released Get Closer to the airwaves and internet in September of 2010, Urban played a handful of surprise engagements promoting the album, but waited a year to conduct the official world tour.
He announced the “Get Closer “ World Tour 2011″, an Australian, American and Canadian tour in support of the album. The Canadian leg features another currently popular country act on the airwaves and with the Grammy judges, The Band Perry. You can see their current hit video here.
Kieth did well at the Grammy Awards this year as well, as he netted the award for Best Male Country Vocal Performance for his hit “Til Summer Comes Around.”
