TV for Truck Drivers You think your weekend plans are exciting? Check out what Karl Pilkington has to do on ‘An Idiot Abroad.’

Pilkington is a reluctant traveler at the mercy of the show’s directors.  The directors, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, go through a list of tasks Pilkington must complete, from down-right humiliating to toe-curlingly scary. Nothing is sacred.

Pilkington has had to endure a Chinese fire massage, sumo wrestling, bungee jumping and much, much more. Perhaps the funniest part of the show, is simply Pilkington’s reactions to the crazy shenanigans his “friends” get him into.

You can catch episodes of ‘An Idiot Abroad’ on the Science Channel, Saturday nights at 10/9 central.

Happy Friday!
