Watch as a cougar, also know as a mountain lion, swims out to and tries to get on-board a boat.  You hear the passengers of the boat trying to direct the driver to cut the engine, and start the engine, trying to avoid the cougar making its way onto the boat, or prevent it from being hit by the boat’s propeller.

The average cougar weighs between 100-145 pounds.  They have sharp claws and strong jaws and are predators.  Although cougar attacks are rare and the animals prefer to be alone, there were 9 reported attacks in California in 10 years.

The cougar is not an animal you want to have swim onto your boat.
