Video: Truck Driver Struck By Lightning In His Truck

Lightning is one of mother nature’s most majestic and deadly forces.
This footage is taken from a driver’s dashcam. It was taken on August 1, 2012 at a truck stop in St. George, South Carolina. A bolt of lightning goes through a driver’s antenna and into the driver’s shoulder and through his truck and fried all of his electronics. The driver sustained minor burns but was otherwise OK. His truck was not– it would not start.
