Great Trucker Recipes: Virtually any slow cooker meal can be made in the truck with a few modifications. In this edition of Trucker Recipes, the chef in this video will show you how to make easy, slow cooker chicken pot pie.
For this Trucker Recipe, you will need:
*(All modified ingredients are in parentheses. If you choose to use the modified ingredients, cut the cooking time in half)
2lbs. of Chicken or *( 3-4 cans of chicken)
2 Cubed potatoes or *(1 can of potatoes)
2 Carrots or *(1 sm. can of carrots)
1 Can of cream of mushroom soup
2c. Chicken broth
(I have a similar recipe, that I use all the time and it calls for 1/3 block of cream cheese, 1 cup of sour cream and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese– it makes the chicken pot pie creamier, but the recipe in this video does not call for those ingredients).
