Teens often get a bad rap for texting while driving, and many admit to doing so, but according to a recent AT&T survey, adults admit to texting while driving more often than teens- 49% of adults admitted to texting while driving, compare to 43% of teens.

Despite increased awareness of the dangers of texting and driving, more and more commuters have picked up the habit.  When the survey was done three years ago, sixty percent of drivers said they had never texted while driving.

Statistics have shown that texting while driving is more dangerous than drinking and driving.
