Northbound I-83 in Pennsylvania Shut Down Due To Accident Involving 11 Vehicles

Published:

I-83 Northbound is shut down today near Loganville in York County Pennsylvania due to a crash involving eleven vehicles including a flatbed hauling three autos. Two of those vehicles were on the bed, and one was being towed behind.

The flatbed is on its side, two passenger vehicles flipped and are still on their roofs.

There has been a large fuel leak, and the tractor-trailer is currently teetering over the median – threatening to fall into the Southbound lane. Authorities are on the scene attempting to stabilize the rig.

Multiple injuries have been reported, and one individual is currently still trapped in their vehicle.

One lane of I-83 Southbound remains open.
