Another example of why it’s good to have a dash camera.
Dipstick check-braking but gets rear-ended instead–0
Dash cams are a good thing, however a lot of drivers here seem to think there company is just out to get them…. I’ve been driving 40 years and I do have one for just the reason seen in this video.
And that’s when the fight started.
I think every comapny should install dash cams i’m sure alot of ambulance chasing pole cat lawyers would be out of buisness quik and i makers
nsurance companies would throw a fit! Since most big comapnies are self insured it would screw two thieving groups
thing is the trucker should’ve been in the right lane looks like he was riding the left lane awhile and pissed the driver off but i agree with leslie
hell this goes on all the time, the truck dont move over to the right lane for someone to pass the asshole gets selfrightous passes on the right and cuts off the other making a state ment of oh yeah well fuck you, Im glad the car got hit, personally the truck should have totaled the bastard, but then in all reality the truck should have been on top of the rules and should have moved over allowing the car to pass in the rite
I am gonna go buy my husband a dash cam for our truck.
And why was the truck hanging out in the left lane?
This happened to me two weeks ago. I drove intop a school zone posted at 15mph with a flashing yellow light letting drivers know the zone was active. i slowed down to 15 mph, and noticed a car swerving from right to left behind me, he was looking to see what was going on in front of me…obviously he didnt know it was a school zone because he was tailgating me. As I left the school zone the speed zone increases to 50 mph….it takes a heavy truck some time to climb the gears, I get up to speed a mile or so, and This Big F-ing jackass passes me in a no passing zone, pulls directly in front of me and slams on his brakes. Fortunately, I had a quicker reaction time and a shoulder to use, so I was able to swerve out of the way to avoid slamming into him….i was so gawd damn mad. He drove off like a bat out of hell.
That is a very major problem us drivers have on a daily day. A dash cam is a very powerful tool that should be used. I will try my hardest to avoid a wreck…But will not be a victim to avoid one. I will take you out.
every commercial vehicle everywhere should have a dash cam.
what an idiot!!!!
I think the car driver needs practice brake checking.
the truck says MOVE B***H! get out the way!
what did the truck driver do to get the car driver to break check him? There is more to this then we see here.
A well deserved “love tap”
It’s a four lane highway…..like an interstate. Look to the right at the beginning of the video and u see two lanes going opposite direction
SERIOUSLY DOUBT the 4 WheelerI looking for a Law Suit. I’ll bet my paycheck they were pissed cuz the Truck was, in their opinion, “hogging” the left lane. And that wud be my 1st question, why was he in the left lane, the video doesn’t show. 4 wheeler was wrong, but the Truck Driver shoulda been, at the very least, covering his brake in anticipation of something like that by the way the car passed him. At the very least, I’ll bet they both share cupability. Hopefully the Drivers Log Book was current and up to date & his brakes are up to snuff. (BUT, WHY did he pull over on the INSIDE Shoulder?! Some places, that’s a ticket!)
This accident is clearly the car’s fault….he chged lanes and it seems deliberate and brakes purposely so that the truck will hit him…..he got some rubber neck for sure….i say to the driver of car…..DUMBAZZ……I say the truck is not liable….
There’s NO OTHER cars on the highway than these 2??? Anyone else suspicious?
Man how many times I wish I could do that !!!
kinda looks like it happened in Australia…
Sounds like he was driving a V8 Powered Scania R-Series Prime Mover.
It looks like a interstate type of highway (there’s another road on the right hand side of the screen, which I assume are the lanes going the other direction), and the lane he’s in is the slow lane.
I was on a bus trip to New York City about 10-15 years ago. On the way back, I noticed that that’s what a few drivers did, pass the bus (loaded with passengers, by the way), and then get in front of the bus and slam on the brakes. Luckily, the driver didn’t hit them.
I would think this is Australia or somewhere like that. They drive opposite of the US and listen to his scent when he calls him a Mother F–ing muppet.
Dumbass takes a truck almost two football fields to stop what a jackass glad he had the dash cam
Looks like Australia
At the end did he say “You fuckin muppets”?
If you listen at the end the gentleman says some choice words in the most amazing Australian accent. Never been so dont know what side of the road they drive on there.
Looked to me right in the beginning he cut the 4-wheeler off. Why was he in the right lane then switched to the left so fast? Still no excuse for this to happen. I just think we are missing the first few minutes of the video.
If you look to far right on other side of grass is oncoming traffic.
I’ve had that happen to me before
Looks a lot like Australia.
I can’t wait to do that it happens to me all the time I know I’m asking Santa Claus for a dash cam
This happened so many times to me when I was pushing a big rig! I was lucky and always had room and reflexes to avoid the accident.
Um probably overseas somewhere. If you notice traffic pattern was opposite of America’s and there is no yellow line on the road. Soooo there’s your answer. But if you were a smart person you wouldn’t have asked where and why. Dash cam proved. Not the drivers fault!
Well where was this and why was the truck in the left lane??
Thanks to the dash-cam, this scum-bag in the 4-wheeler isn’t going to get the big law suit pay day he/she was looking for.
Next time the car driver lear to never do this when a truck is behind him
This sh*t happens to me all the time, but so far ( knock on wood ) haven’t had the accident. Yes I have a dash cam.
Dumb ass 4-wheeler, u got what you asked for.
WIsh I could hear how that post-crash conversation went…
