According to the Fayette Advocate, on February 18, a video camera was found in the women’s bathroom at the Jeffersonville TravelCenters of America truck stop, located at I-71, Exit 65 (US 35).
An employee reportedly found the video camera in the stall area of the restroom. The employee immediately notified the store manager who found a cellular phone above a removable ceiling tile.
The manager was able to identify the phone’s owner as Herman J. Perkins, 48, an employee of the truck stop at the time of the recordings.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Facebook page, Perkins has been arrested and charged with five counts of Voyeurism.
Authorities have not released how many women Perkins filmed.
