Driving a concept Mercedes-Benz Future Truck 2025 seems like a breeze!
This concept rig boasts a modern aerodynamic shape, autonomous driving capabilities (enabled by radar sensors and camera technology), LED lighting over the entire grille (as opposed to traditional headlights), and a blind-spot assist function.
– Another interesting feature is the absence of side mirrors. Instead, the 2025 concept truck features ‘grime-resistant’ mirror cameras which display the driver’s surroundings on screens inside of the cab.
Developers predict that autonomous driving will improve fuel efficiency as well as traffic flow in the future.
Demonstrations of the concept truck model are currently in progress, and developers predict that production on these high-tech big rigs will begin towards the end of the decade.
