Awhile back, I wrote an article about what the Trucking Angels of America facebook group is about and provided an application for those looking for help. I am here to tell you that we got a great response from the wonderful people in trucking, and we truly would have liked to help them all. We thank each and every family for their application and pray they were able to find some assistance.
Trucking Angels was able to help 6 families this year with gift cards ranging from $50 up to $100.
We helped 2 families at Thanksgiving and we are helping 4 at Christmas. We hope and we pray that the families who received the gift cards have some of their stress relieved and have been able to provide either a good meal for their family or some toys under their tree for the kids or even both.
Trucking Angels will continue to raise money through 2015, and hopefully next year we can help even more families at both Thanksgiving and Christmas.
