On Thursday evening, a man’s body was found at the TravelCenters of America truck stop in Edinburg, Texas.
According to KGBT, Edinburg Police were called to the truck stop, located on the 8300 block of US 281, at approximately 5:30 p.m.
Police found the man’s body lying on the ground at the truck stop.
While there were no visible signs of foul play, police are investigating the case as a possible homicide.
An autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of death.
The man has been identified as a 47-year-old immigrant from El Salvador.
Authorities say they’re not sure if the man was left at the truck stop.
They are not releasing the victim’s identity.
