Drivewyze on Monday announced that the company has added Indiana and Alabama weigh stations to its network.
According to Drivewyze, PreClear bypass service is now live at 9 locations in Indiana and one in Alabama. In addition, 12 sites have been added in Texas.
“With the addition of these 22 new locations in Alabama, Indiana and Texas, Drivewyze PreClear bypass service continues to be the fastest growing bypass service in the United States,” said Brian Heath, president and CEO of Drivewyze. “We now offer bypasses at 318 fixed weigh stations and mobile inspection sites in 24 states, surpassing the growth of any other program. With more locations pending in Texas and with many other states coming on board, Drivewyze is pleased to be providing more bypass sites than any other bypass service.”

Drivewyze states that an FMCSA study revealed that a singular bypass can save a up to $8.68 in lost time and fuel.
“As we add our bypass service to more states, long-haul and regional carriers find they have even more opportunities to save money,” Heath added.
Commander of the Motor Carrier Safety Unit for the Alabama Department of Public Safety said, “Our officers can concentrate their efforts on vehicles that should be inspected,” Pullin added. “They can screen unsafe carriers and maximize resources and that benefits the motoring public.”
Major Mike Eslinger of the Indiana State Police agrees. “Qualified carriers, whose safety records meet Indiana state requirements, can stay in the flow of traffic,” Eslinger said. “That’s important for our state’s economy and for the nation’s economy since several key truck transportation corridors cross our state.”
