Numerous Shots Fired at Truck on I-94

On Saturday morning, a motorist on I-94 in St. Croix County, Wisconsin, fired several shots at a truck.

According to WQOW, the truck driver told authorities that as he passed a car, he heard what sounded like “rapid knocking on the cab of his truck.”

The driver pulled off the road and discovered that one of his windows was broken. The driver got back onto I-94. Not too far down the highway, another driver flagged down the driver to tell him his truck was leaking fuel.

The driver again pulled off the road. When the driver inspected his truck, he found bullet holes in the fuel tank, sleeper, a tire and other locations on his truck. In total, the driver found 9 bullet holes.

Authorities checked the area where the driver heard the shots, and they found numerous shell casings.

The truck driver described the suspect car as an older model red or maroon car.

The incident remains under investigation.
