Indiana State Police are investigating after a truck driver was found deceased in his truck at an Elkhart County, Indiana rest area.
On Sunday evening, Indiana State Police Toll Road Post officers were contacted by the driver’s company who said that the driver had not made it to his destination, the Elkhart Truth reported.
Indiana State Police Toll Road officers found the truck parked at a rest area on the I-80/I-90 toll road, near mile marker 90.
Authorities found the driver deceased in his truck.
According to the Elkhart Truth, the driver appears to have died of natural causes, however, an investigation is underway to determine the actual cause of death.
The driver’s name has not yet been released.
