Vehicle surfing is being an increasingly popular thing to do. In fact, we’ve shown you several videos of truck surfing in the past.
A Brooklyn, New York man attempted to surf on the back of a delivery truck and his ride didn’t go so smoothly. He fell off the back of the truck and was severely injured.
The accident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. near Bedford Avenue and North 11th street near McCarren Park in Williamsburg.
The man, reportedly in his 20s, was found lying in the roadway. Witnesses say he was unconscious, not moving and covered in blood. One witness told DNAInfo that the man’s clothes were shredded from his body.
The truck driver did not stop and likely wasn’t aware that he or she had picked up an unwanted hitchhiker.
The man was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
