Cement Truck Rolls Down Hollywood Hills Cliff

Published:

This cement truck driver was able to maneuver himself to safety after his truck slid down the side of a steep Hollywood Hills road that crumbled under his truck before one on Tuesday, March 25th.

After L.A. Emergency responders received the call, an aerial video was shot of the mangled truck laying on it’s side above West Hollywood.

The truck was headed to a project site to construct a retaining wall, and was driving on a small access road which was made available to the driver by the homeowner.

As the driver was backing onto the road, the ground crumbled and the truck slid down the side of the mountain.

The driver was initially trapped on the side of the hill, but managed to escape on his own – without the help of rescuers.

According to NBC4, the homeowner heard someone yelling for help, and saw the dirt hanging in the air from the accident.

Cement poured out of the container, causing minor damage to the home.
