West Virginia Lottery officials have reviled the identity of the state’s newest millionaire!
Retired truck driver and mechanic, Randy Brown matched five numbers from last Friday’s (February 7th) Mega Millions drawing.
Brown told lottery officials that he didn’t realize he had won until Sunday when he went to the store to check his ticket.
The ticket was purchased from C and L Serve in Mallory, West Virginia.
It seems as though luck was strong in West Virginia this week as it was the first time in lottery history that West Virginia sold $1 million tickets on two consecutive days. – The $1 million Powerball Match 5 was purchased and won on Saturday and sold in Beckley, West Virginia.
If you purchased a ticket in West Virginia recently be sure to check it! There is still an outstanding Mega Millions Match 5 ticket from December 17, 2013 (sold at the Belle 7 Eleven) and a match 5 Powerball ticket sold in Beckley last Saturday. – Both tickets are worth $1 million.
The winner has 180 days from the drawing date to claim the prize!
