Bill H. shared this video with us. It’s a dash camera video of a Van Eerden Truck being struck by lighting on I-80 in Coralville Iowa.
The driver, Travis A., was not injured in the strike, however, Bill says, “the truck had to be towed back to Michigan. All the wiring was completely fried. when the lightning hit it blew out the passenger window, covering him in glass.”
Bill is Travis’ co-driver. He was on vacation at the time of the incident.
