Twelve-year-old Dahabrielle A. Turner from Indiana was killed on Monday when her father’s truck rolled on westbound Route 20 in Pingree Grove, Illinois on Monday (April 6).
No Answers on Cause of Fatal Accident
Turner was ejected from the truck during the accident and pronounced dead on the scene. Her father suffered only minor injuries.
Authorities are not sure how fast the truck was going or exactly why it rolled over, but the accident happened on a section of the road where the speed limit dropped from 55 m.p.h. to 30 m.p.h.
The accident caused some of the poly sealant that the truck was carrying to leak, requiring hours of clean up.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
Police Seek Additional Information
