A Milky Morning In Tampa

Published:

Florida drivers are probably craving cookies this morning after two milky incidents have slowed morning rush hour traffic.

Two Tampa Truck Incidents Slow the Morning Rush Hour

Around 4 a.m. in Tampa Bay, a truck overturned on a southbound ramp, spilling gallons of milk onto the median. The truck driver lost control as he was making a turn, causing his trailer to detach and collapse. The driver suffered minor injuries and is being treated at a nearby hospital.

Only a few hours after, another truck lost several containers of baby formula and baby care magazines, stopping southbound traffic.

The milky mess was partially cleaned by hand with brooms and shovels. Tampa authorities then brought in special street sweepers to finish cleaning the formula and magazines from the road. The incidents caused major traffic disruptions throughout the area.
