I-75 Reopens After Winter Weather Causes Pile Up

Published:

Four people were injured in a 15-20 vehicle pile up near Dayton, Ohio on Monday evening (March 23). At least four commercial vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident.

Winter Weather Blamed for Pile Up

Snow caused “white out conditions” that led to a chain reaction pile up, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol. Four people were hurt during the pile up, but none of the injuries are thought to be serious. All of the injured were taken to the hospital.

Shut Down Lanes Reopen

The northbound lanes of I-75 were closed for around 2 hours after the accident. All lanes were reopened around 8 p.m.

The Ohio Highway Patrol is continuing to interview drivers and witnesses to obtain more information. No citations have yet been issued.
