Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Adds Truck Driver To Most Wanted List

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations announced truck driver Benjamin Scott Brewer has been added to the state’s  ‘Top 10 Most Wanted’ list.

On June 25, 2015, Brewer, 39, plowed into eight cars on I-75 in Chattanooga. Six people were killed in the crash.

A grand jury has accused Brewer of vehicular homicide, 4 counts of aggravated assault, driving under the influence of narcotics and speeding.

According to an NTSB investigation, Brewer had been on duty for approximately 50 hours in the three days leading up to the crash. The FMCSA states Brewer tested positive for methamphetamine six weeks prior to the crash.

Brewer’s address is listed in London, Kentucky, however, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office believes Brewer is no longer at that residence.

“The Tennessee Bureau has a new addition to the state’s ‘Top 10 Most Wanted’ list: Benjamin Scott Brewer of London, Kentucky. Brewer is wanted by the Chattanooga Police Department, the U.S. Marshals Service, and the TBI…” the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations states.

Brewer is described as a Caucasian male with brown hair and brown eyes. He’s 5′ 7″ tall and weighs 190 pounds.

Anyone with information about Brewer’s whereabouts is urged to call the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND (1-800-824-3463). There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
