The 2015 Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) is right around the corner! Will you be there?
This year’s MATS will be March 26-28, 2015. The annual show is held at the Louisville Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
MATS is the largest trucking show in the United States. Each year, more than 70,000 people attend the 3-day event.
The Mid-America Trucking Show began in the early 1970’s, when a private management group was formed by Paul K. Young, to create the largest and most diversified trucking show in the United States of America. The first Mid-America Trucking Show was held in 1972 with 83 Exhibitors and 4000 visitors in attendance. These days, MATS is a MONSTER. There are over 4,000 professionals exhibiting products and giving business presentations and over 70,000 attendees. So if we can give you any type of advice, it’s “do some homework and preparation before you take the plunge.” It’s easy to get lost in that place!
The show does offer truck parking for $30 per night for on-site parking, but free off-site parking is also available. MATS provides a free shuttle to and from the off-site parking areas.
