Missing Driver Found Deceased At Sam’s Club

Published:

Police are investigating after a truck driver who was reported missing on Monday was found dead in his truck earlier today.

57-year-old David W. Fadness was reported missing on Monday, though his company, National Logistics LLC., had not heard from him since he made a delivery to Sam’s Club in Idaho Falls on around 4 p.m. on September 27.

Fadness was found dead inside his truck in the same Sam’s Club parking lot where he made his last delivery. Police say that it appears he died of natural causes, but they will conduct an autopsy to learn more. He was found in the cab of his truck along with a dog that is still alive. The dog was taken into custody by animal control officers.

The Missing Truck Driver Alert Network issued a Missing Driver Alert for Fadness on September 28. The Alert was widely circulated on social media and various news outlets.
