Shots Fired At Truck Driver On Dan Ryan Expressway

A truck driver survived after a gunman in a moving car opened fire on him around 2:50 this morning (March 17, 2015) on the Dan Ryan Expressway in Chicago.

Truck Driver Under Fire Escapes Unhurt

The driver said that a gold Chevy Impala pulled up next to him on the driver’s side, then hit his brakes and moved behind the truck and pulled up to the passenger side. The Impala driver then fired a gun at the truck. The Impala then sped north, while the truck driver pulled over. The truck driver was uninjured, but the truck took several bullets and is leaking fluid.

No Arrests in Shooting Incident

As a result of the shooting incident, lanes in both directions were closed in the early hours of the morning so that police could investigate the incident, but they have all reopened.
