On Monday night, a driver’s truck broke down on Redditt Road in Orange County, Florida. While the truck driver was working on his truck, two men approached the driver, stole his cell phone and shot the driver. The two men then fled the scene.
The incident occurred on Reddit Road near Mai Tai Drive in Orlando at approximately 10:00 p.m.
When police arrived, the truck driver, who has not been identified, informed them the men were dressed in dark-colored, hooded jackets. He said the men took off in the direction of a gated community.
Police canvased the area and did not apprehend any suspects.
The truck driver sustained non-lifethreatening injuries and was taken to an Orlando hospital. He is listed in stable condition.
The shooting is under investigation and no further details have been released.
