Winter Storm Ajax has forced officials to close 150 miles of I-70 starting west of Goodland, Kansas and ending on the eastern edge of Denver.
At least 100 and possibly as many as 150 vehicles have been stranded on I-25 near Castle Rock, Colorado in what has been described as white out conditions. At least two 18 wheelers have jackknifed, according to Colorado state police.
It is not yet known if there are any injuries as a result of the storm.
