Drivers on Atlanta’s busy I-75 encountered an unusual sight — a man riding one horse and leading another down the shoulder of the downtown connector.
The rider, Tod “Doc” Mishler, was captured on video by news helicopters near downtown Atlanta on Wednesday (March 18). Atlanta police soon pulled Mishler over and helped to guide him to a safer sidestreet.
Mishler said his goal was to raise awareness about childhood hunger, but did not report being affiliated with any specific organization. He also said that he was hoping to reach his sister in Indiana by June for her birthday.
