Wife Found Guilty Of Murder Of Trucking Tycoon Bill Hall Jr.

Last night a jury found the wife of multimillionaire trucking tycoon Bill Hall Jr. guilty of his murder.

Love Triangle Leads To Alleged Road Rage Assault

According to the prosecution, the incident began on October 13, 2013 when wife Frances Hall was pursuing her husband’s mistress Bonnie Contreras on Loop 1604 in San Antonio in an apparent fit of road rage. Bill Hall Jr. also pursued his wife’s SUV on a Harley Davidson motorcycle.

During the incident, the prosecution says that Frances Hall rammed Contreras’s vehicle with the SUV and then also somehow struck the motorcycle her husband was riding. He died in the hospital later that night.

The jury deliberated for six hours last night before handing down the verdict. They found Frances Hall guilty of murder and aggravated assault.

Wife Could Face Life in Prison

Sentencing is scheduled for Monday. Hall could face life in prison.

Bill Hall Jr. was a third generation trucker who owned and operated the Texas based trucking company Bill Hall Jr. Trucking Ltd. since 1989. He had a fleet of over 100 trucks.
