Oil Tanker Truck Fumes Kill Two Workers

Published:

The bodies of two workers were found inside an oil tanker truck in Bexar County, Texas, yesterday morning.

The incident took place at Pinnacle Truck Trailer & Rail LLC around 10 a.m. According to reports, two male workers in their 20s were preparing an oil tanker truck for the venting process.

By the time another employee went to check on them, both men were unconscious.

Emergency crews pulled the men out and performed CPR on them, but they could not revive them.

Investigators say that the men entered into the tank without it being properly ventilated. Only one of the men entered the tank initially, according to reports. The second man apparently entered in an attempt to rescue the first man when he was overcome by the fumes.
