Two Baltimore Truckers Arrested For Ontario Truck Stop Stabbing

Published:

Two truck drivers have been charged with attempted murder for a Sunday night stabbing of a third man at an Ontario Truck Stop.

Police were called to the TA West truck stop around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday to find a victim who had been stabbed several times in the face, arms, and upper torso.

A security guard was able to detain the two twenty-five year old suspects, Ibragim Zavutatze and Sherali Komilov, until police arrived on the scene.

After questioning the suspects, investigators determined that the attack was motivated by a debt that the victim allegedly owed the trucking company that the suspects worked for.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

Zavutatze and Komilov were taken into police custody and charged with attempted murder. They are each being held on a $1 million bail.
