Teen Rides Horse Through Snowstorm To Bring Stranded Trucker Coffee

A trucker stranded by a snowstorm on Highway 10 in Manitoba was surprised when a teen girl on horseback knocked on his door with coffee in hand.

Eighteen year old Eileen Grace Eagle Bears became concerned when she viewed live streaming footage from a traffic camera on Highway 10 and noticed that a semi hadn’t moved overnight.

Worried about the driver, Eagle Bears bundled up and saddled her horse.

It took her an hour of riding through cold and slippery conditions to make the three mile trek to reach the truck.

Said Eagle Bears, “I knocked on the door to the truck … woke him up and asked if he was all right and gave him coffee.

After learning that the trucker was getting low on food, Eagle Bears returned a few hours later with a hot meal.

Eagle Bears’ mother was able to screenshot her daughter’s interaction with the trucker on the traffic camera. She later shared the moment on Facebook.
