Transport America is waging war against low driver pay — and winning

As a truck driver, you are one of the hardest working people in America. Period.

But does your paycheck reflect how much you sweat, how many long hours you log behind the wheel, or how much you sacrifice to keep the wheels of our nation turning?

Probably not.

And that’s a shame.

Pay Increase And Performance Bonus For Team And Solo Drivers

Transport America sees paying drivers what they’re worth as a sign of respect for the men and women who keep both the company and the country running.

And that’s why they’ve introduced a new per mile pay increase. Drivers can now earn up to $0.54 per mile, meaning that top performing solo OTR drivers could make as much as $90,000 annually. Top performing team OTR drivers could earn up to $165,000 a year thanks to the per mile pay increase. Student driver will also see an increase in their pay and tuition reimbursement as part of the company’s effort to increase driver wages.

From Transport America company President Paul Simmons: “At Transport America, we have a driver-first philosophy. By providing our drivers the utmost respect, more consistent home time, flexible routes, the best support in the industry and now increased pay, we are demonstrating our commitment to our outstanding professionals. We welcome new drivers to join the Transport America team where you too will have the experience of being part of a team that puts drivers first.
