The fire started around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, at the Flying J truck stop located off I-20/59 in McCalla, Alabama.
According to local news station WBRC, firefighters believe that a bush behind the truck stop somehow caught fire and that the fire then spread to the main building.
Firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading to the fuel pumps, but the Flying J sustained heavy damage in the fire.
