Authorities say that an 18 wheeler hauling four cars caught fire and then exploded. In images captured at the scene, you can see that all five vehicles sustained massive damage from the explosion.
The truck driver was evaluated at the scene for injuries but declined to go to the hospital. No other injuries were reported.
The explosion was so forceful that many San Pedro residents reported that it shook their homes.
