Authorities are investigating an overnight fire at an Alabama truck stop that claimed the life of a truck driver on Tuesday.
Firefighters say that the vehicle fire occurred around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27, at a TA truck stop located on Buttermilk Road in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

A forty-seven year old truck driver was inside the cab of the semi truck parked behind the TA when it caught fire.
Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue responded to the scene.
The truck driver died from injuries sustained in the truck fire.
Police have not released the identity of the truck driver.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
