Uninformed, distracted and unskilled motorists can be the most dangerous things in a truck driver’s life. Hundreds of times each year car drivers and pedestrians cause truckers to wreck (often times injuring others in the process) simply because they don’t understand many rules of the road. Business intelligence analysts at MotorcycleInsurance.com decided to find out why.
They presented a 20 question test to drivers all over the country, then ranked each state according to the percentage of correct answers. Some places turned out to be downright hazardous to truckers, pedestrians and even public transportation commuters.
So please, when your family has some downtime, maybe you can convince them to re-read and review your state’s driver’s manual. Good drivers are safe drivers!
