One of the internet nerd types here at CDLLife recently took a holiday vacation to the Loveland Pass in the Rocky Mountains. He took his family with him, so he wasn’t in a “moving corner office,” but rather the sporty all-wheel drive hatchback.
This is a video he shot at 4x speed during a 15 mile commute driving out of Keystone Ski Resort. He used the popular and versatile GoPro Hero HD video camera, which is a favorite of extreme sports athletes and motor enthusiasts because of the stellar image stabilization, and the versatile, yet solid mounting system that comes with it.
If that doesn’t sound like your speed, just click the image below and start a search for standard camcorders.
One thing we want you to know – CDLLife loves it when truck drivers send us videos that they shoot themselves. We’re interested in any dash-mounted cam videos of famous stretches of highway, from the Delaware River Bridge, to the causeway across New Orleans’ Lake Pontchartrain, to the half mile dive off of the Cumberland Gap. We’d love to see any of it! Got some video?  Submit it to our Facebook page and maybe you’ll see it featured here one day.
For now, have a look at the Loveland Pass going west to east on U.S. Highway 6.
