AT&T Takes Truck Driver for a Ride

Published:

AT&T vs. Truck DriverDo you have unlimited calling and data on your cell phone?  Phone not as fast as it used to be?  Cell phone companies claim to offer you an unlimited plan but many will slow down your service  once you reach a certain amount of usage.

Matthew Spaccarelli, an unemployed trucker, had a $30 per month plan with cell giant AT&T.  The plan was supposed to include unlimited calling, messaging and data. Spaccarelli wasn’t charged extra, but whenever he would reach 3 gigabytes of data usage, his internet was bogged down and videos wouldn’t play.

Fed up, Spaccarelli took AT&T to small claims court and won.

For many drivers, cell phones are a lifeline. They provide entertainment, access to news and information and a connection to those at home.

Find out if your carrier slows down your access when they feel you’ve used to much data.
