In its five years of existence, Women In Trucking has seen considerable growth and now represents nearly 2,000 members.
“As a leading third party logistics company, C. H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc. recognizes and supports the rising demographic of women in the transportation industry through our involvement in the Women In Trucking Association, said Mary Clark Brown, general manager at C.H. Robinson. Women In Trucking provides a clear mission, strong foundation and evolving outlook and we are honored to be connected to this pioneering organization.
Other notable trucking industries have partnered with the organization, but C.H. Robinson is the first to partner at the silver level. Frito Lay, Walmart, Great Dane, Hyundai, and Bendix have all partnered at the gold level.
C. H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc. is the first logistics provider to step up at this level of support and we are looking forward to using their expertise and influence to help us bring a new level of service to our members, said WIT President/CEO Ellen Voie.
