This fancy, immersive contraption is the EVOC heavy truck simulator. It’s part of a traveling exhibit put on by the Mid-Plains Community College group to get potential students interested in truck driving as a career.
It simulates weight, braking distance, weather conditions, payloads, and steering radius on modern 18 wheelers. All road hazards can be controlled by the instructor working from another terminal.
