Next week the chrome will be shining and the gears will be whining in North Carolina as this motorsports-centered extravaganza gets started up. The two-day event will be held at the zMAX Dragway at 5555 Concord Pkwy. South, Concord, NC 28027 from Noon Friday Oct. 5th to 6pm Saturday Oct. 6th.
What are some of the headlining attractions for truck drivers and their families at the event?
This year Pride & Polish will host a truck beauty competition, with trucks on display throughout the Charlotte Diesel Super Show with the awards ceremony to be held Saturday at 5:00 pm. Don’t miss seeing the effort, chrome, paint and accessories that make these trucks the best of the best!
The zMax Drag Truck Competition will be open to any working diesel truck with at least 20” wheel rims. Trucks must be working class, licensed and inspected and must be street legal. The races start Saturday and the top prize is $1500.00!
Other family-friendly attractions are a demonstration drag run by jet powered funny cars, monster truck rides, a concert with country star Candy Coburn, a NASCAR race simulator, a wing eating contest and much more!
