“Cobra Electronics Corporation COBR -0.70% , the number one choice of professional drivers and the leading designer and manufacturer of Citizens Band (CB) Radios, today announced it will showcase the latest additions to its family of innovative electronics for professional drivers in booth #17084 at the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) taking place March 22-24 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.

“At this year’s show, Cobra will highlight two new product solutions designed to help professional drivers comply with new legislation regarding hands-free mobile phone usage. This includes the newly-announced Cobra 29 LX BT CB Radio, offering Bluetooth(R) connectivity for fully compliant hands-free mobile phone calling. The new Cobra 29 LX BT, the industry’s most advanced CB Radio, is based on the patented, award-winning Cobra 29 LX model and delivers an array of powerful safety features including 10 NOAA weather channels, 24×7 Emergency Weather Alerts, a four-color selectable LCD display, noise cancelling microphone, and more.

On the road, drivers can make and receive cell phone calls through the 29 LX BT without ever touching their phone. This state-of-the-art new CB also includes a series of exciting features to improve the mobile calling experience including: one-touch Bluetooth operation for easily initiating and terminating mobile calls with the push of a button, Caller ID with Voice provides a voice announcement of incoming callers along with Caller ID display on the 29 LX BT, and text-to-speech conversion, which enables listening to incoming email messages and responding to emails by simply talking.”
